Instructional Development Faculty

With ODL since 2013, Kerry has been designing courses, teaching, and mentoring faculty in higher education settings for over 20 years. At ODL, she has consulted on the launch of two EdD programs in her role as liaison with the College of Education and on myriad stand-alone courses developed by faculty from various colleges on FSU's main and satellite campuses. She designs courses and teaches graduate students online for Instructional Systems & Learning Technologies (ISLT) in addition to her ODL role.

Kerry developed an internship program that offers ISLT graduate students the opportunity to become Quality Matters-trained interns who assist instructors with online course revision. To support students in online learning, Kerry has designed resources such as Learning Online @ FSU and a Canvas training course. She coauthored the fourth edition of a leading graduate textbook, Psychology of Learning for Instruction (2021), with FSU College of Education Dean Emeritus Marcy Driscoll. She received her doctoral degree in Instructional Systems from Florida State University.
