Remind Students about Course Feedback

The spring course evaluation window opens April 10, and students will have two weeks to complete their end-of-semester surveys. To help you engage students in constructive and meaningful feedback, the Office of Digital Learning provides an array of resources.

You can import the FSU Course Evaluation module into your Canvas course site from Canvas Commons. The module includes strategies to increase course evaluation response rates, sample course announcements, and a variety of digital and print resources to help you spur students to complete course evaluations. To import the module into your course site, see our support article for step-by-step instructions.

You can also share the short video below with your students to emphasize the importance of course feedback.

As you encourage students to complete the surveys, remind them that all feedback is anonymous. Assure them that FSU works with a third-party vendor to protect the anonymity of course evaluation content, so no one at the university can identify students or their responses.

If you have questions about course evaluations, visit odl.fsu.edu/evaluations, email odl-at@campus.fsu.edu, or call 850-645-2730.
