Self-paced AI Training Available for All
To prepare FSU faculty, students, and staff for the effective and ethical use of artificial intelligence in higher education, the university provides access to the Google AI Professional Certificate. The self-paced training course is available at no cost as part of FSU’s commitment to AI literacy.
Through hands-on activities, you’ll learn how to maximize AI for a variety of uses, including the following:
Fundamentals | Understand generative AI concepts, build effective prompts, and assess AI-generated output for bias and accuracy
Brainstorming and Planning | Brainstorm concepts, evaluate ideas, and strengthen project plans by identifying potential risks
Research and Insights | Integrate data sources to create research reports and develop a Gem-based AI expert to attain new insights on work
Writing and Communicating | Compile meeting transcripts, develop communication assets, and assess strategies through simulations
Content Creation | Generate visual assets, create engaging slide decks, and develop design guidelines for AI-created content
Data Analysis | Analyze organizational objectives, standardize disorganized data, and generate data visualizations
App Building | Evaluate workflow and build a web application to resolve workplace challenges, using AI to analyze technical issues
How to Begin
To get started, visit the Google AI Professional Certificate page and click the “Enroll” button. You don’t need prior experience and can complete the course at your own pace. You’ll receive a credential from Google upon completion.
