Course Intro Video Welcomes Learners
Course introduction videos are an excellent way to welcome online students to your class, set expectations for the course, and show students how and where to get started. For instructors undergoing a Quality Matters review, course intro videos will also help you meet rubric standards.
Course intro videos require minimal work from interested instructors. To get started, fill out our media services request form, and a member of our team will reach out to discuss your project and add it to the production schedule. You'll then complete a questionnaire that we’ll use to create a draft script and slides for your review. Our media team will record, edit, and caption a professional video you can use for years to come. Please note that the Office of Digital Learning’s media services are reserved for FSU for-credit distance learning programs and courses. For an example of the type of course intro video that we can help you create, view the example above. We’re scheduling for Spring 2026, so contact our media team to prepare for next term.
